Business Development Representative
Our organization is seeking a skilled Business Development Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct targeted prospecting campaigns across focused industries and regions to develop high-quality outbound leads and opportunities
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to execute innovative, structured, and strategic prospecting plans with specific calls to action
- Upsell additional products and services to existing customers
- Immediate action on inbound and campaign leads (MQLs)
- Run weekly territory forecasts while executing against yearly plans.
- Schedule Discovery Calls for the AEs
- Record and document all activities in CRM following company protocol
- Leverage other marketing tools to identify and prioritize prospecting efforts while validating and cleansing data
- Achieving the monthly quota of qualified opportunities
- Contribute to the research and creation of targeted prospect lists
- Own data management relative to performance, campaign, and operational execution
Position Requirements :
Minimum of 2 years proven business development; success through effective use of core sales tools. All relevant industry experience will be considered favourably.Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a distributed sales teamCapability of understanding the prospect's pain points, requirements, and correlating potential business valueStrong and professional communication skills - written, verbal, and presentationAptitude to manage numerous requests and time demands while achieving goalsPromotes a strong sense of urgency for reaching goals and key deliverables. Acts without being told what to do.
