Every customer - whether they’re buying a property abroad, managing business costs in different currencies, or sending money home - gets access to a dedicated currency specialist. So rather than being just a digital FX platform, we focus on building long-term relationships and offering personal, expert support throughout the process.

We are regulated by the FCA, and the Central Bank of Ireland, and handle billions in currency transfers every year; working with over 70,000 private clients and more than 2,500 businesses. Backed by Pollen Street Capital, we’re in an exciting growth phase - scaling across Europe and expanding our technology and service offering.

The Partnerships Team

The team is our priority.

Our Spain team continues to grow across our territories in the Costa Blanca North, Costa del Sol, Costa Blanca South, Murcia, Almeria and Mallorca.

With ranging experience in FX, our team of 22 on the road, assisted by 5 colleagues looking after our offices in Javea, Ciudad Quesada, Villamartin, Los Alcazares and La Cala de Mijas continue to take company from strength to strength in this hugely exciting time to join Lumon.

About the Role

As our Partnerships Manager at Lumon, you'll be instrumental in expanding our market presence and influence by acquiring, activating, and driving new business revenue growth through a portfolio of partners.

You will focus on business development, acquiring new accounts, and cultivating long-term relationships within the real estate, legal, financial and banking sectors. This role requires a strong hunter mindset to find and secure new business opportunities within a defined market segment and / or geographic territory, as well as a farmer approach to maintain, nurture, and grow these accounts over time.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to foster new business while also expanding relationships with existing clients to achieve Lumon’s sales goals.

Your day to day will be the following...

  • Partner Acquisition & Core Focus : Acquire and activate a strong portfolio of revenue-generating partners within Costa Blanca North.
  • Relationship Management : Develop long-term strategic relationships nurturing partners toward success.
  • Revenue Growth & Project Leadership : Collaborate with partners to drive new partner-sourced or influenced opportunities that align with your region's addressable market. You'll be accountable for delivering pipeline volume relative to your quota and regional win rate.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with teams across Marketing and Sales.
  • Market Expertise & Strategic Contribution : Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of industry trends and Lumon's offerings to effectively position us and identify opportunities for collaborating with partners.
  • Communication : Articulate ideas and proposals in a clear, compelling, and concise manner, both verbally and in writing. This role also requires comfort in representing Lumon at events, actively engaging with partners and customers.

You should apply if...

  • Experience working in a sales, business development or partnership management role
  • A strong and active portfolio of clients and / or in the FX / Real Estate / Banking space
  • Experience to run a full sales cycle : from prospecting and discovery to negotiation and closing.
  • Unafraid of cold outreach - you enjoy starting conversations from scratch, influencing decision-makers, and turning curiosity into committed interest.
  • Proven track record in generating new business and in exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Spanish and other European languages are a plus).
  • Able to travel to partners and be present in offices when needed

    The interview process

    Our interview process involves 3 main stages. We promise not to ask you any brain teasers or trick questions!

  • 30 minute recruiter call / video
  • 30 minute onsite with hiring manager
  • 1 take home brief to be presented
  • 1-hour video call team members
