Human Resources Specialist Job Description
In this role, you will serve as a local HR partner, working closely with the regional team to support both daily operations and long-term growth of the Spain business.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment for Spain & Portugal, including job scoping, candidate sourcing, interviews, and hiring. You will also support HR Shared Services (HRSSC), including employment contracts, onboarding and offboarding, payroll coordination, and employee records management.
This role requires strong knowledge of Spanish labor law and HR practices, as well as excellent communication skills in Spanish and English (both written and spoken).
Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end recruitment for Spain & Portugal, including job scoping, candidate sourcing, interviews, and hiring.
Support HR Shared Services (HRSSC), including employment contracts, onboarding and offboarding, payroll coordination, and employee records management.
Act as a trusted partner for employee relations, handling inquiries, contract management, and workplace issues in compliance with Spanish labor law.
Assist with performance management processes such as goal setting, evaluations, and talent reviews.
Coordinate and deliver training & development programs to support employee growth and engagement.
Implement and localize HR policies and processes aligned with regional HR strategy.
Provide HR data analysis and reporting to support decision-making.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or above in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields.
1-3 years of HR-related experience, preferably in multinational or fast-paced environments.
Solid knowledge of Spanish labor law and HR practices.
Strong communication skills in Spanish and English (both written and spoken).
Self-motivated, proactive, with strong accountability and team spirit.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
Cross-cultural adaptability and willingness to learn continuously.
