Senior Finance Partner

At ING, we are looking for a Finance Business Partner to support our Retail business in ING Spain in achieving commercial and financial targets while aligning with our overall strategy.

You will have an end-to-end perspective of the business, including income, pricing, expenses, balances, profitability, and performance ratios. Your role involves comparing long-term vision against current performance and market trends to initiate new strategic initiatives, as well as preparing regular financial updates for Product Leadership and key stakeholders.

Ideal candidates combine strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership. Your responsibilities will include :

• Acting as a link between Finance and other areas, ensuring the bank's strategy and financial ambitions are understood and embraced.
• Monitoring and forecasting business performance, analyzing actual figures, and understanding income, expenses, risk costs, and balance sheet developments.
• Collaborating with business leaders for forecasts and mid-term budget setting with clear targets and KPIs.
• Developing and refining financial models based on in-depth business knowledge.
• Sharing insights, challenging performance, and collaborating on new business proposals.
• Translating analyses into concise presentations for local committees such as ALCO and Pricing.

Requirements include a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of experience, preferably in banking or consulting, and excellent English communication skills. Proven experience in advanced financial modeling and Excel automation is essential.
