Location : Madrid, ES
Reporting to the VP Finance Business Partnering, EMEA, the Senior Finance Business Partner, Spain will be responsible for providing strategic Finance Business Partnering support to the Revenue organization in the market and the Market leadership team. The role will support the development of the Market’s plans and targets ensuring that they are fully aligned with EMEA Region and Global Functional team strategies, and provide oversight on the performance of the Market against key targets. You will collaborate with the Finance Business Partnering Regional Organization, and Global Finance Partnering teams to influence strategies, policies and plans to ensure that they reflect Market specific economic and business trends. The Senior Finance Business Partner will represent Finance in the Market, in internal and external bodies and will manage one Finance Business Partner.
Market Business Partnering
Provide strategic Business Partnering support to the Market Revenue Senior Executives (CBO, CL), the Content Organization Senior Executives (HoEC) and to the rest of the Market leadership team, providing insights, forward looking views and challenge to influence and drive higher levels of business performance. Representing Finance as part of the Market Leadership team.
Develop and Maintain a high level of understanding of key value drivers that have an impact on the performance of the Market and work with the Market business leaders and their teams to ensure a financial perspective and understanding of these key drivers are reflected in key decisions.
Ensure the Market plans, targets and decisions are aligned with the EMEA Region and Global Functional teams strategy. Partner with the EMEA Finance Business Partnering Organisation to ensure alignment.
Provide feedback to EMEA Region leadership and Global Functional Business Partners on ways to optimize the P&L that might not have been identified by the Global Functional teams
Work closely with Market, Regional, and Global business leaders to support strategic initiatives through financial modelling, ad hoc analysis, and business case development.
Participate in the preparation of strategic analysis, business case development and ad hoc analysis as required to support Market, Europe Regional and Global strategic initiatives.
Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting
Work to standards set by Corporate FP&A, in close alignment with the Director, FP&A EMEA and in conjunction with Global Functional Finance Business Partnering teams to develop Budgets / CEs to reflect Market business conditions, opportunities and risks, and communicate agreed Budgets / CEs with budget owners across the Market
Work with the EMEA and Global Functional Business Partnering teams to ensure that risks and opportunities present in the Market are understood and are incorporated appropriately in their strategies, budgets and forecasts.
