Senior Manager Finance Transformation (m / f / d) - Spain

Mutares SE & Co. KGaA, Munich ( as a listed private equity holding company, acquires medium-sized companies in special situations, based in Europe, which show significant operational improvement potential and are sold again after undergoing a repositioning and stabilization process. Mutares actively support its portfolio companies with its own investment and consulting teams and through strategic add-on acquisitions. The focus is on companies with revenues of EUR 100 million to EUR 750 million from the following segments : Automotive & Mobility, Engineering & Technology, Goods & Services and Retail & Food. The aim is to achieve a clear value increase with a focus on sustainable, long-term growth of the portfolio company.

Within our OPS team, we are looking to hire a team member with a successful track record in Finance with a continuous improvement attitude and an entrepreneurial mindset. This role will be located at portfolio companies, on site across Europe.

Your Tasks

• Manage the restructuring and improvement processes for our portfolio companies on-site to implement and improve sound cash management processes on-site
• Collaborate closely with the local CFO / CRO and TMO lead on the preparation of turnaround concepts by performing strong financial analyses, preparing integrated financial models and challenging and assessing business cases
• Prepare and execute financing solutions (factoring, asset-based funding, credit lines)
• Improve financial statement closing and other finance / controlling processes and assist in the preparation of financial statements and audit
• Manage the relationship with external stakeholders (auditors, financial advisers, banks, credit insurers, etc.)
