Assistant Housekeeping Manager
This leadership role involves coordinating and supervising daily housekeeping activities in staterooms, public areas, and open decks. The Assistant Housekeeping Manager collaborates with the Housekeeping Director to ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities
- Directs staff to meet quality standards and service levels.
- Assigns duties, responsibilities, and workstations to staff members.
- Monitors and evaluates staff performance and work procedures.
- Reviews schedules and guest requirements with the Housekeeping Director.
- Responds to guest concerns in a professional manner.
- Conducts regular inspections to maintain company standards.
- Attends meetings, training sessions, and courses as required.
- Responsible for Sanitation Logs and SQM Logs.
Requirements
One to two years of housekeeping supervisory experience in an upscale hotel or resort is preferred.Minimum one to two years of previous cleaning experience preferably in an upscale hotel, resort, or cruise line.Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and equipment usage.Exceptional management skills in a multicultural environment.Strong planning, coaching, organizing, staffing, controlling, and evaluating skills are essential.#J-18808-Ljbffr
