Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of the Housekeeping department, you will be responsible for the operational management of all Housekeeping functions and may be assigned to manage various areas such as accommodation, public areas, or crew area.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct support to the Assistant Housekeeping Manager and Housekeeping Manager in ensuring the division's objectives are met.
- Maintain day-to-day operations in Accommodation, Pool, Public / Crew areas to standard.
Requirements
Minimum one year Housekeeping Supervisory experience in a large 4- or 5-star hotel (500+ rooms), cruise line, or hospitality industry related field with demonstrated experience supervising a team of minimum 10 employees.Extensive knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, chemical handling, and safety procedures, requirements, and use of equipment, personal protective equipment, and job safety analysis related to proper handling chemicals, lifting, pushing, and pulling heavy equipment, garbage removal.Working knowledge of computers, Internet access, and the ability to navigate within a variety of software packages such as Excel, Word, or related Company programs.Language Requirements
Good knowledge of the English language is required. Ability to speak additional languages such as Spanish, preferred.#J-18808-Ljbffr
