SDR Manager - Growth Markets (2nd line management). TravelPerk is a global travel and expense management platform that helps travelers have freedom while giving companies control. We’re looking for an SDR Manager to lead 2nd line management for the Growth region (Italy, Central and Eastern Europe, Israel and Emerging Markets).
The Role
Reporting to the Regional Director, you will lead, inspire, and elevate a team of Team Leads and SDR professionals. You will shape growth, drive innovation, and contribute to TravelPerk’s trajectory in the travel industry.
What will you be doing?
- Inspire & Motivate – Lead, mentor, and energise a team of 3 managers and 30 SDRs across Italy, Central Eastern Europe, Israel and Emerging Markets to drive high performance, foster innovation, and celebrate achievements.
- Ongoing Skill Development for Team Leads – Equip SDR Team Leads with advanced Leadership, coaching, and operational skills to strengthen their impact as first-line managers and ensure consistent team performance.
- Regional Strategy & Cross-Functional Alignment – Define and execute the Growth region's SDR strategy in close partnership with senior Leadership, Talent Team, Marketing, and Sales, ensuring alignment on hiring, pipeline generation, and go-to-market priorities.
- Own Sales Development Success – Oversee SDR activities, outbound lead flow, and SQL generation, ensuring the team has the tools, processes, and strategies to thrive.
- Coach & Develop an Outbound Machine – Train, mentor, and empower your team to become a high-performing outbound engine, mastering prospecting, objection handling, and pipeline generation to drive SQLs at scale consistently.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with Sales, Marketing, and HR to align on lead generation, optimise MQL conversion, and attract top-tier talent.
- Strategic Pipeline Management – Conduct lead pipeline meetings, Salesforce analysis, and competitive market reviews to refine and enhance prospecting strategies.
- Operational Excellence – Implement and continuously improve sales development workflows, team performance metrics, and coaching programs to scale success.
- Change Leadership – Adapt and lead the team through new processes, tools, and market shifts, ensuring smooth transitions and sustained growth.
What will you need to succeed?
Proven Leadership in 2nd-Line Management – Tenured experience in sales leadership, including experience managing managers and leading large SDR teams to exceed targets consistently.Strategic Sales Development Expertise – A deep understanding of outbound sales strategies, pipeline management, and sales development frameworks to drive scalable, high-quality SQLs.Unmatched Mindset & Accountability – A relentless drive for success and a high sense of accountability. You own your team’s outcomes, lead by example, and maintain an unwavering commitment to delivering results.High-Impact Coaching & Team Development – A passion for mentoring managers and SDRs, fostering a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and high performance.Data-Driven Decision Making – Strong analytical skills to track performance, optimise workflows, and implement data-backed improvements using tools like Salesforce and Outreach.Excellent communication skills in English; Italian or Polish are a plus.Experience with different cultures and markets; prior outbound / sales experience in Central and Eastern Europe and / or Italy is advantageous.Organisational and problem-solving skills.A genuine and constructive approach to work and collaboration.Our Benefits
