Business Development Manager

As part of their strategic expansion across Iberia, we are currently supporting the search for a Business Development Manager to spearhead the growth of their contract logistics division in Spain and Portugal.

This is a unique opportunity to join a global player at a pivotal moment in their development, with the chance to shape the commercial strategy and build out the local BD team from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of the contract logistics business across Spain and Portugal.
• Build and manage the Business Development team, reporting directly to the Country Manager.
• Own national RFQs and collaborate closely with regional headquarters.
• Re-engage former customers and manage key relationships.
• Identify warehouse locations and logistics solutions in line with national regulations.
• Draft and execute sales strategy and business plans.
• Manage BD / sales budgets and internal procurement processes.
• Represent the brand at industry events, forums, and European BD meetings.
• Oversee billing and ensure timely payments.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Europe to support business growth.
