IT Operations Specialist

Roles / Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with Project Manager and Business stakeholders to understand Business drivers and scope of the projects.
• Support and facilitate workshops across various functions in Business and Technology to elicit business requirements and re- define processes.
• Write detailed user stories and use cases aligned with an Agile / sprint-based development methodology.
• Document and maintain process maps, procedures, and policies. Documenting “as-is” and “to-be” business processes.
• Analyse current business processes and identify areas for improvement
• Obtain formal sign-off of business requirements from all key stakeholders and ensure traceability throughout the development cycle as requirements evolve
• Work actively and closely with software development teams to ensure user requirements are clearly understood and developed as specified in the documentation.
• Perform estimation for analysis deliverables; ensuring timelines are realistic and achievable.
• Provide regular status reporting to stakeholders including status against milestones, and transparency of risks / issues.
• Develop metrics to measure the effectiveness of process changes
• Onboarding of new employees in the IT department. Train and support end-users on new or improved processes.

Job requirements and qualifications :

Location :

• Madrid (other Spain locations are acceptable).
• English fluent at negotiation level

Must have experience :

• At least four years of experience as a Business Analyst in a large complex organisation with a multinational environment.
• Extensive experience across all stages of the software development lifecycle.
• Excellent level of English with good communication skills (oral & writing)
• Ability and flexibility to adjust to a fast-changing and demanding environment.
• Hospitality sector
• Background in international organizations.
• Less than 15%
• Collaborative attitude and experience working remotely in multicultural teams across different countries.
• Highly influential, leadership, communication at least at director level,
• efficiency, sociability, goods skills of write and oral communication is a must.
• Argumentation and conflict management
• Bachelor’s degree in Management, International Relations, or IT-related fields.
• A recognized Business Process Management qualification is preferable.
