AI Project Director

We're seeking a seasoned AI Project Director to lead the strategic development and implementation of cutting-edge AI solutions. In this pivotal role, you'll oversee the entire project lifecycle, from conception to launch, ensuring seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities :

Drive project execution and ensure timely delivery of high-impact AI customer deployments.

Partner with engineering, research, product, and business teams to deliver business outcomes and serve as a single point of contact for client engagement and escalation.

Define project milestones, allocate resources, manage budgets, and monitor risk, facilitating stakeholder communication, reporting, and project documentation.

Ensure compliance with customer requirements and continuous delivery best practices, track and report project KPIs, supporting data-driven decision-making.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

6+ years of experience in technical projects or program management within software, AI, or infrastructure-heavy environments, preferably within the financial services domain.

Strong technical background—experience in software engineering, ML systems, or DevOps / Infrastructure roles (not necessarily current, but enough to understand architecture and implementation trade-offs).

Proven track record managing backend, infrastructure, or AI / ML / GenAI-related projects, ideally involving APIs, platform development, or cloud-native services.

Working knowledge of common tools and stacks : Git, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and CI / CD workflows.

Ability to read technical documentation, participate in architecture reviews, and collaborate closely with technical and business stakeholders alike.

Excellent project planning, risk management, and cross-functional communication skills across all levels of an organization, including C-level executives in financial services.

Fluency in English required; additional European languages a strong plus.
