Strategic Alliance Development Manager - Italy and Iberia
The role of Strategic Alliance Development Manager for Italy and Iberia involves leading senior-level engagement with top strategic Global & European partners to drive new business opportunities within the region. This position works closely with regional stakeholders, including RVPs, sales teams, and other Alliance Managers across Europe.
Focusing primarily on generating new license sales from Flexera's Enterprise Solutions, particularly ITAM solutions, IT Visibility, and Cloud Cost, this role aims to develop business development and service delivery strategies for selected partners in the Medi region.
This is a quota-carrying position, with revenue being the primary metric for measurement. Leads and new opportunities generated from day-to-day partner activities will be tracked closely, and commissions paid on closed business. The position is also eligible for an annual President's club trip.
Main Responsibilities :
- Establish and nurture relationships with large System Integrators, Consulting Partners, and SAM Service Partners.
- Develop key account alliances and relationship programs designed to scale the business by generating sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with partner executives to create detailed plans that drive strategic engagements, develop partner skills and certifications on Flexera solutions, execute marketing plans for joint activities.
- Manage strategic partner alliances / partnerships, opportunity pipelines, and ensure retention, growth, and customer success.
- Evaluate program trends and provide analysis and recommendations to management.
- Work towards mutual goals, strategies, and objectives to build awareness and support of overall strategic benefits of the alliance.
- Provide financial analyses, long-range forecasting, and analysis studies associated with potential alliances / partnerships.
- Monitor competitor activity in accounts and implement strategies to maintain account ownership and block competitor advancement.
- Drive initiatives for joint selling and marketing programs.
- Ensure timely and accurate tracking of Partner value within the Salesforce.com CRM.
- Create structured Business Plans that outline how to attack this position and remain focused on business objectives.
- Funnel critical market trends or solution feedback through Product Management Teams for product improvement.
Required Experience & Skills :
Fluent in Spanish and Italian, with good knowledge of English.Extensive experience in Sales, Alliances, or a combination of both at enterprise software or consulting companies.An existing network of partners at System Integrators, Resellers, and Consultancies in Italy, Spain, and Portugal.Experience in Strategy Development at a senior management level (VP / C-level).Proven leadership in creating and managing the partner community.Knowledge of high-value technology : virtualization, cloud, asset management, ITSM, migration, security.Ability to create and support business development initiatives.Capacity to work cooperatively across multiple groups within the organization.Ability / willingness to travel a minimum of 30%.J-18808-Ljbffr
