The responsibility for delivering new Implementations for our customers rests with our country cluster businesses. We seek someone with deep expertise in planning, project management, and delivery of complex warehouse implementations.
This role is key to delivering the maturation of GXO's Project Management Office (PMO) delivery across Europe, working closely with regional leadership teams.
Responsibilities :
Leading and developing European wide Implementation and Turnaround projects to deliver successfully on time, within budget, and achieving KPIs.Developing and delivering a PMO framework to mature and scale GXO's ability to deliver complex implementations reliably.Making the framework real in-countries and at sites, bringing it alive for those who have to work with it, and advocating Warehouse Implementation good practice.Leading and delivering high-profile Implementation projects with Site teams in line with business and customer expectations.Supporting multi-functional Site teams to ensure successful and seamless new projects through to successful project implementation.Advocating for scalable and common-across-Europe good practices to develop common ways of working to deliver projects for customers as One Team.Qualifications :
10+ years' experience as a Warehouse Implementation project leader within a 3PL, managing projects to deliver multi-million revenue projects.A recognised Project Management certification (e.g. PMP or Prince2 or equivalent).Flexibility to work anywhere within Continental Europe and ideally experience of and comfort with working in different cultures across the continent.Capable of speaking a minimum of one Continental European language plus English, additional languages an advantage.Able to take a leadership role or be part of a high-performing team.A 'can do' attitude – comfortable working to tight deadlines, under pressure, and away from home.Ability to influence and be assertive at all levels of the business to deliver change.Excellent leadership and emotional intelligence to work effectively in a matrix management business.Ability to manage complexity and uncertainty.Ability to build strong and lasting working relationships with Country teams across Europe.Willingness and flexibility to travel 50% - 75% of the time.Requirements :
