Overview
As part of our growth and organizational development around major industrial building projects as a General Contractor, we are seeking a Project Director to join our Datacenter team in Spain. Reporting to the Regional Director, you will be responsible for leading our design & build datacenter projects, with full accountability for the project’s technical, financial, and contractual performance.
Responsibilities
- Strategic project management : defining objectives (quality, cost, timeline, safety) and implementing management frameworks (quality plans, organization, contracts).
- Team coordination and leadership : structuring the project team, defining roles and responsibilities, and fostering a positive, collaborative work environment.
- Operational monitoring and reporting : overseeing project progress (schedule, budget, risks) in collaboration with the PMO, and feeding into steering committees.
- Ensuring compliance with contractual commitments and regulatory requirements.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships throughout the project and representing the company to external partners.
- Contributing to the evolution of project management practices and supporting internal transformations.
Profile / Qualifications
Electrical, mechanical or civil engineering degree.At least 10 years of experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary industrial building projects.Leadership skills and ability to manage large-scale projects by coordinating diverse specialist teams.Solid expertise in analytical project management, risk and opportunity anticipation, and experience on international projects with proficiency in Spanish and English.Location & Travel
Mainly based on site, close to construction activities. Open to frequent travel across Spain.
