The Operations Analyst will report to the Operations Manager. You will be responsible for investigating outstanding reconciliation items, testing and updating system configuration, and supporting operations functions related to change and system enhancements. Additionally, you will analyze, administer, and implement changes to processes, procedures, and / or products and services to increase efficiency and reduce costs, particularly in payments, settlements, and cash management.

What You’ll Do
Investigate and clear outstanding bank reconciliation items.Test and manage changes to internal system configurations related to payments and settlements.Assist in managing liquidity across client bank accounts, ensuring compliance with PSR and banking regulations.Manage access to third-party banking / payment platforms.Research new products and services, providing recommendations to Operations Managers.Conduct operational access rights audits to ensure relevant user permissions.Collaborate with stakeholders on cost-benefit analyses, draft business requirements, and review functional specifications.Adopt creative thinking to generate new ideas and contribute to change initiatives.Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), designing and executing test scripts.Manage process and policy related to cash operations, seeking advice and implementing risk mitigation measures.Maintain internal system configurations and ensure they are current.Keep up-to-date with industry developments in IT, banking, settlements, finance, and compliance.Assist with daily payments and settlement tasks, identifying process improvements and risk mitigation opportunities.Provide currency expertise to maximize currency reach and delivery from banking partners.Ensure bank accounts are not overdrawn and controls are in place.Ensure operational processes and reporting comply with all guidelines and regulations.Reconcile ledger and bank statement entries, investigating anomalies.Manage online banking implementation, training, issue resolution, and system administration to ensure segregation of duties.Willingly undertake ad-hoc duties and workload as assigned by the line manager or Director of Operations & Settlements.Requirements
Who you are :
Experience working in operations or payments roles within an FX / IP (MSB) service provider, financial services provider, or bank.Experience processing payments via bank transfers, direct debits, and credit / debit cards.Strong IT skills using online payment platforms, spreadsheets, and MS Office.Must have strong written communication skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
