Job Summary

The Glob al Data Operations Specialist is responsible for running the Havas data management platforms.

S / He ensures the data operations delivery and e xcellent customer service.

S / He works on the global integration of the team acting as bridge between different areas located globally also ensuring the knowledge flow accordingly across all areas.

This role reports in to the Senior Manager, Data Solutions

Main Responsibilities

Data operations management Make sure the data platforms and processes are runnin g well, both in data collection, integration and processing

Monitor and manage data quality processes and data integration s

Perform corrective and evolutive maintenance of all the data exchange and data solution processes

Responsible for the quality and security of data

Ensure the quality of service; responsible for u ser support and help desk.

Troubleshooting

Iron out technical issues and / or help in technical improvement, cascade to development teams

Document data operations and monitoring solutions in clear, concise guides

Team management Coach, guide and support the team of data operations specialists and developers

Motivate and create great place for people to work

Ensure knowledge tr ansfer flows in both directions , establish the protocols to warrantee this

Develop team effectiveness

Education

C omputer science, engineering or related technical field

Previous Experience

3 + years professional experience in the field of data management

Language Skills

English

Key Competencies

• Broad knowledge of Data Platforms in Media space, both at infrastructure (basic) and operational level (expert)
• Strong command of ad - serving systems , DSPs and data management solutions
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data technology / management on a big data platform
• Strong w orking knowledge of SQL , PL / SQL .
• Skills in one or more language will be necessary : Java, Perl, Python, Shell script Unix
• Knowledge of new generation data platforms such as MPP databases, Hadoop or Spark is a plus
• Experience working wit hin the IT procedures, data quality requirement s and agile / SCRUM environments
• Experience and robust knowledge in cloud computing (Google Cloud, AWS)
• Strong interpersonal and wr itten / oral communication skills
• Professional level in English and Spanish is a must
• Proactive self-starter
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills
• Experience using IT project management software
• Experience writing techincal documentation and how- tos for operational tasks
