The Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex LAN and wireless infrastructures in a hybrid enterprise environment. This role includes leading network projects, providing Level 3 support, and collaborating within a global engineering team to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable network operations.Key ResponsibilitiesLead implementation of network infrastructure projects, including design, deployment, and troubleshooting.Support and evolve enterprise LAN and wireless networks across multiple sites.Act as a technical escalation point for advanced network issues.Design and implement SD-WAN solutions across varied underlay networks.Manage AAA services (TACACS+, RADIUS), with experience in Cisco ISE and ideally Aruba Clear Pass.Maintain network documentation (HLDs, LLDs, diagrams, procedures).Leverage scripting (Shell, Python, PERL) to automate tasks and integrate with APIs.Monitor network health using tools such as Logic Monitor, Solar Winds, CA Spectrum, and Net Flow.Analyze packet flows and troubleshoot TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP, IPsec, and other core protocols.Technical ExpertiseAdvanced hands-on experience with LAN / WAN routing and switching (Cisco preferred).Strong knowledge of Cisco technologies : Catalyst, Meraki, Aironet; familiarity with Aruba is a plus.Routing protocols : OSPF, BGP; Network protocols : STP, Qo S, HSRP, VRRP, SNMP, NTP, 802.1 X.Wireless technologies and network management systems (Cisco Catalyst Centre, Aruba Central).Experience with public and private cloud networking environments (preferred).Familiarity with ITIL processes and frameworks.Qualifications & ExperienceDegree or diploma in a relevant technical field.5+ years of networking experience, including 2+ years in a large-scale enterprise environment.Professional certifications (Cisco, Aruba, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
