Job Title : Satellite Operations Engineer

At our organisation, we are seeking a skilled and proactive satellite operations engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities

As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of real-time mission-critical software solutions for satellite operations.

Key responsibilities will include defining satellite communications protocols for mission design, analysing data to identify issues and inefficiencies in the full stack of services and proposing solutions to improve productivity, driving improvements to fleet capacity and productivity through process enhancements, and monitoring satellite health and performing on-orbit experiments.

Qualifications

Required skills and qualifications :

• Proficiency in software development, particularly in Python or equivalent languages;
• Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science or similar;
• Proactive, self-starter approach to engineering and problem-solving;
• Effective interpersonal and collaboration skills within a technical team;
• Full professional proficiency in English.

Preferred qualifications include educational Master level, familiarity with satellite engineering and / or the space environment and its challenges, experience with Bash and Linux, hands-on experience operating spacecraft or remote systems, and familiarity with automation and optimization tools.
