Main Responsibilities
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new opportunities.
- Design and execute sales strategies to increase revenue and expand the client base.
- Serve as a key liaison between clients and our organization, ensuring seamless communication and high levels of satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage expertise and drive results.
- Maintain accurate records and reports to track progress and inform future initiatives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients through exceptional customer service and follow-up skills.
- Negotiate prices and services with clients and suppliers to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Oversee daily account management to retain existing relationships and foster new business opportunities.
- Establish and meet sales targets to contribute to organizational growth and success.
- Research emerging markets and engage with executives to develop strategies for pursuing new opportunities.
Qualifications and Skills
A minimum of 3 years' experience in the freight forwarding industry or a related field.Proven leadership experience in air or ocean freight import / export operations.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.In-depth knowledge of import / export regulations and documentation.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in multiple languages, including English, Spanish, and Chinese.Exceptional customer service and follow-up skills.Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.Willingness to travel for meetings, conferences, and market research as needed.
