Process Engineer - Key Responsibilities
As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing process systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
Design conceptual and detailed process flow diagrams (PFDs), material & energy balances, and utility sizing.
Develop specifications and datasheets for process equipment and instrumentation.
Prepare vendor packages, including scoping, detailed specification, construction oversight, and commissioning / qualification (CQV).
Apply cGMP, GAMP, ISA, EU / ISO standards, and perform safety / environmental studies including HAZOP, LOPA, ATEX, COSHH.
Collaborate with project controls, architecture, construction management, and CQV teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have :
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or closely related field.
10+ years of experience in process design within pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences.
Demonstrated track record leading or significantly contributing to projects exceeding €100 million in value.
Proficient in creating PFDs, P&IDs, utility sizing, calculations, and equipment specs.
Skilled in process simulation tools, smart-P&ID systems, and AutoCAD.

As a Process Engineer, you will be required to travel to client sites, other offices, and construction or commissioning locations as needed. You will also be expected to maintain strong relationships with clients and internal design teams, support business development and proposals, and engage in the development and use of design tools.
