Overview Process Design Engineer

This role involves leading process engineering scope within large-scale projects, collaborating with project controls, architecture, and construction management teams. Strong knowledge of cGMP, GAMP, ISA standards and experience in creating PFDs, P&IDs, utility sizing, calculations, and equipment specs is required.

Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or closely related field.

10+ years in process design within pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences.

Demonstrated track record leading or significantly contributing to projects exceeding €100 million in value.

The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication, time management, and project ownership abilities. They should be able to build long-term client relationships and collaborate within multi-disciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities Develop specifications and datasheets for process equipment and instrumentation.

Prepare vendor packages, including scoping, detailed specification, construction oversight, and commissioning / qualification (CQV).

Apply cGMP, GAMP, ISA, EU / ISO standards, and perform safety / environmental studies including HAZOP, LOPA, ATEX, COSHH.

Collaborate with clients and internal design teams; support business development and proposals.
