Overview
Join to apply for the Junior Meeting Coordinator role at BCD Meetings & Events. We are looking for a Junior Meeting Coordinator to join one of our pharmaceutical global client dedicated teams with you working in Spain. You will support Ancillary Meeting Managers with the successful execution of ancillary meetings associated with pharmaceutical congresses. Your primary focus will be attendee management including attendee registration, communication and data management. There may be onsite travel opportunities as part of your growth and development within BCD Meetings & Events.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain registration websites, electronic invitations and confirmations for each assigned event following client guidelines and timelines.
- Serve as primary contact for attendee registration and reporting questions and primary attendee liaison.
- Oversee all aspects of website design, ensure data capture and reporting parameters meet requirements.
- Utilize registration website technology to manage thresholds for arrival / departure, room blocks, attendee changes, activities, data capture and reporting.
- Prepare onsite delegate print work, signage and documents including reports.
- Support the project team with pharma compliance reporting requirements.
- Provide project planning support within the wider project team.
- Travel onsite in Europe and worldwide to provide onsite support for larger ancillary and congress attendance as needed.
Qualifications
Excellent attention to detail with experience in proofreading, data analysis and cross-checking.One year of experience in a support role, preferably in the meeting planning industry or attendee management.Customer service mindset.Database and reporting management skills.Analytical thinking with ability to troubleshoot independently and with the team to ensure efficient registration processes.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and travel onsite when required.You Might Also Have
Cvent or other meeting technology experience in registration and reporting.Pharmaceutical event knowledge and / or compliance knowledge.Event management degree or relevant work experience in the events industry.You Should Know
This is a full-time role (Monday to Friday) remote based in Spain; if located near Barcelona, hybrid work is available.Part of a global team with members in Europe (Spain, Italy, UK) and the US.Ability to travel within Europe to provide onsite event support which may include weekends.You must have the right to work in Spain.Perks
