What are we looking for?
We are incorporating a new INSUDER as a S&OP Technician to join the Producción & Supply Chain team.
The challenge!
This roll ensures the company’s operations are timely, efficient, and cost-effective by assisting in all demand planning duties. This role requires professionalism, strong analytical skills, excellent communication, in-depth knowledge of advanced mathematical and forecasting policies, and acting as the integration point with the sales and commercial organization.
Specific Responsibilities
- Develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function.
- Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities
- Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy.
- Successfully communicate forecast and inventory estimations to management
- Closely coordinate and communicate customer action plans to support Customer Service and Commercial team with Demand / POs management
- Elaborate proposals to Customers to align demand and capacity in our plants
- Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies
- Conduct monthly forecast maintenance.
- Elaborate and monitor Forecast and Demand Planning KPIs
- Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
What do you need?
Education : Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, engineering or other forecasting Certification preferred.Languages : Fluent Spanish and English, knowledge of other languages will be an asset.Experience (years / area) : a minimum of 3 years’ experience in demand planning / forecasting role, in multicultural and multinational environments.Specific Knowledge : Proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts. Knowledge of SAP or other software related to demand planning is preferred. Capability to multitask in a fast paced environmentTravels : Open to travel.Personal skills : Influence, good communication skills, customer orientation, strong analytical, organizational, decision making and presentation skills and Self-confidence.Our benefits!
