As a Sales Engineer, you will be the technical master of the sales world. You will collaborate with the Sales Team, leveraging your technical expertise to lead solutions throughout the sales cycle and provide thought leadership to transform companies' B2B experiences.
You will not only have a deep understanding of the technical aspects of our offerings but also possess the communication skills necessary to explain these features in an accessible and compelling manner to non-technical audiences, including C-level executives.
Your role is pivotal in the sales process, as you will present solutions to meet client needs, and ensure that the product's technical capabilities align with the customer's business objectives.
Your objective is to become a “Trusted Technical Advisor” to our customers and inspire confidence in making positive impacts.
Responsibilities include :
- Collaborate with Sales Team to understand customer requirements and provide sales support.
- Help Sales and SDRs qualify opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver product demonstrations, including :
- Vision Generation : overview demos for discovery or creating a vision
- Focused demos : targeting specific pain points or values
- Functional Proof : demonstrating functionalities
- RFP demos : based on questionnaires
- Provide technical expertise during pre-sales discussions and support closing deals.
- Participate in bids, including quoting professional services, writing technical parts of proposals like SOW and change orders, and defending bids.
- Participate in technical meetings, handle security questionnaires, and escalate issues to security teams when necessary.
- Give early alerts for risky projects and participate in RFI / RFP / RFQ processes.
- Handle project handovers with Professional Services or Partners.
- Maintain advanced knowledge of product features.
- Work closely with sales reps, customers, partners, international support, and product management to support presales activities, customer projects, and feedback collection.
- Deliver training on Esker solutions internally and support marketing activities such as exhibitions, webinars, and workshops.
- Be willing to travel extensively.
Training and Knowledge Requirements :
Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent; additional degrees in Economics or Business are valuable.Professional Experience :
8+ years in defining business requirements and functional specifications, preferably in software implementation environments.Competencies :
Effective communication, active listening, empathy, relationship building, problem-solving, analytical skills, critical thinking, adaptability, and flexibility.Ability to assess technical and business needs, conduct requirement workshops, and work effectively in fast-paced, multi-bid environments.Teamwork, collaboration, negotiation, persuasion, time management, emotional intelligence, presentation skills, and fluency in Spanish and English.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.What We Offer :
