Role overview

The Bar Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of all bar outlets within Time Out Market Barcelona, ensuring excellence in service, maximizing profitability, and delivering a consistent customer experience aligned with the Time Out brand.

Key Responsibilities :

Oversee daily operations of all TOM Bars.

Ensure efficient stock management, ordering, and supplier relations.

Collaborate with the Assistant General Manager to guarantee compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Collaborate with the Assistant General Manager to optimize staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage and service quality.

Team Leadership

Collaborate with the Assistant General Manager to recruit, train, and develop bar staff to maintain high service standards.

Collaborate with the Assistant General Manager to foster a positive and motivating team culture.

Collaborate with the Assistant General Manager to conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback.

Customer Experience

Ensure exceptional service across all bars, maintaining consistency with the Time Out Market brand.

Collaborate with the Assistant General Manager to handle guest feedback and resolve complaints swiftly.

Innovation & Curation

Collaborate with the Assistant General Manager to curate a unique and innovative beverage program.

Collaborate with the Assistant General Manager to develop seasonal cocktails, special promotions, and pairings aligned with cultural events.

Ensure sustainability and responsibility in product sourcing and waste reduction.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Bar Manager, Beverage Manager, or similar role (ideally in high-volume venues, hospitality groups, or food halls).

Strong leadership and people management skills.

Solid knowledge of mixology, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages.

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Fluency in Spanish and English (Catalan a plus).
