Lead Software Engineering Team

The role involves overseeing and managing high-performing teams, focusing on our most valuable asset – our people.

You will collaborate with product and design teams to plan and scope the product development roadmap. You will be responsible for the delivery of the engineering team and ensure that processes are well-designed and followed. The performance of the team and products should be measurable, with a focus on maintaining exceptional quality.

Additionally, you will own and be responsible for the technical stability and performance of the products developed by your team, delivering added value to stakeholders at every iteration.

• Build and lead high-performing software engineering teams.
• Ensure teams are properly structured, staffed, and have the right roles and skills.
• Drive excellence in recruitment, onboarding, and career development for engineers.
• Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and passion for quality products.
• Participate actively in the cross-functional leadership team.
• Collaborate with other engineering leaders to share best practices.
• Be accountable for the timely and quality delivery of the engineering team.
• Work closely with product teams to support product activities.
• Define and monitor team performance metrics to track productivity.
• Continuously optimize and improve team and development processes.
• Measure team performance and address any issues impacting it.
• Promote and implement modern agile software development practices.
• Fill in missing roles as needed.
• Coordinate with architecture and product teams to align strategies, standards, and business goals.
• Ensure awareness and management of system health, performance, and stability.
• Champion technical initiatives for the product development roadmap.
• Maintain effective support and maintenance processes.
• Actively monitor SLAs.
