Senior Origination Specialist

Overview Esteemed professionals sought to spearhead origination efforts in Spain. Leading providers of Real Estate Finance seek an experienced Director to oversee the development of novel credit solutions across Bridging Finance, Development Finance, and bespoke Lending Solutions.

This key hire will report directly to the EMEA Director and collaborate closely with senior stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience originating, negotiating, and executing principal loans in the Spanish Development Finance market, specifically in Madrid and / or Barcelona.

Responsibilities Originate and execute new loans to meet lending targets

Deliver exceptional service and results to borrowers

Present high-quality credit proposals to the Credit Committee

Maintain oversight throughout loan life cycle with proactive portfolio management

Expand organisational network and brand through close collaboration with Marketing and Events

Contribute to business strategy and product development

Qualifications Demonstrable track record in Development Finance originations

Established Debt Adviser and Broker networks

Expert understanding of underwriting risk

Ability to coach, develop, and manage team members

Awareness of business strategy and lending guidelines

Understanding of treasury and transaction modelling

Ability to drive due diligence process with Credit, Legal, and Loan Execution Teams

Comfortable visiting building sites and familiar with basic construction methods and budgets

Proficient in Spanish and English
