Laundry Manager Position Overview

This is an opportunity to join our organization as a Laundry Manager, overseeing the daily operations of our laundry facilities. As a Laundry Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that proper chemicals are used and disposed of according to company guidelines. You will also provide efficient day-to-day service and quality of the laundry facilities, ensuring guest and crew laundry is cleaned and well presented.

Responsibilities

Supervise the daily operation of the laundry facility, ensuring compliance with company guidelines and regulations.

Assign and review work of laundry personnel engaged in receiving, washing, ironing, and packaging of laundry.

Maintain and repair laundry equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.

Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and quality of laundry services.

Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of laundry services.

Ensure all laundry staff adhere to company requirements and guidelines.

Requirements

Minimum two years of experience in a supervisory role in a luxury environment.

High school diploma or equivalent required; university degree preferred.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to read and interpret English language documents.

Knowledge of laundry equipment and chemical handling procedures.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Physical ability to lift heavy loads and stand for long periods.

Language Requirements

Good knowledge of English language required. Ability to speak additional languages preferred.
