Laundry Manager Position The Laundry Manager oversees the operation of laundry facilities and personnel, focusing on delivering exceptional guest services.
Supervise daily laundry facility operations, ensuring proper chemicals are used and disposed of according to established guidelines.
Collaborate with Housekeeping Director and Maintenance Manager for preventative maintenance of laundry equipment, addressing significant maintenance issues promptly.
Ensure all duties and responsibilities are performed in accordance with the company's safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Minimum two years of guest-facing service experience in a luxury environment.
Combination of education equivalent to high school diploma or other sources of education, training, or experience providing required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Technical proficiency; ability to assess methods and procedures, knowledge of equipment and supplies, exercise good judgment on corrective programs, and determine essential departmental programs.
Confident appearance, warm demeanor, and excellent customer service skills.
Minimum two years of related experience and training in the laundry field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Working knowledge of computers, Internet access, and ability to navigate various software packages like Excel, Word, or company programs.
Knowledge of cleaning techniques, requirements, and equipment use.
Chemical handling expertise.
Ability to apply customer service skills according to company policy when interacting with guests and coworkers.
High school completion or basic education equivalency preferred.
Ability to fulfill key responsibilities and reasonable company requests.
Proficiency in additional languages such as Spanish and European languages is beneficial.
