Join our Business Development team as Associate Director Business Development .
Associate Director Business Development supports the acquisition and growth of new business opportunities, focusing on Clinical Research and / or Pharmacovigilance (PV), Medical Information (MI), and Regulatory Affairs (RA) services. The role involves proactive client acquisition, account development, and supporting strategic sales initiatives.
Location : Europe (Remote / Travel Required)
Reports to the Chief Commercial Officer.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record of successfully driving new client acquisition, demonstrating a strategic, "hunter"-oriented approach in the Clinical Research and / or PV, MI, and RA service domains.
Key Responsibilities Attracting new clients and building strong relationships in Clinical Research and / or PV, MI, and RA service lines
Maintaining good relationships with key clients and ensuring proactive account management
Achieving assigned sales goals and supporting broader commercial strategies
Supporting sales strategy execution and collaborating with internal stakeholders
Business Development Identify and convert new business opportunities in Clinical Research and / or PV, MI, and RA areas
Drive lead generation and relationship development independently
Represent the company at industry events and support sales strategy implementation
Key Account Management Develop and maintain account plans for clients
Coordinate RFP / RFI responses and lead bid defense meetings
Ensure high client satisfaction and continuity
Operational Collaboration Maintain accurate records in CRM systems
Support proposal, marketing, and operations teams during client acquisition cycles
Revenue Growth Achieve sales targets consistently
Contribute to year-over-year growth in territories or accounts
Requirements Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Proactive, result-driven, and well-organized
Team-oriented with the ability to work independently
Flexible mindset aligned with company values
University degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field
Minimum 5 years of sales or account management experience in CRO or related life sciences sector
Fluent in English and native language (spoken and written)
Proficiency in MS Office; CRM experience (Salesforce or similar) is a plus
