Job Description :
Based in Madrid with full international exposure, you will be part of a dynamic environment and a key member of our Corporate Development & Strategy team. You will work closely with top management, including the Group COO, Chairman, CEO, and CFO’s business units.
Your responsibilities include :
- Corporate Development : Executing transactions such as acquisitions, capital increases, and JVs (over 30 deals analyzed / executed in 2023). Tasks involve analyzing companies, drafting and reviewing documents like proposals, IMs, financial models, due diligence reports, and legal contracts. You will support senior team members in meetings, negotiations, valuation, and transaction structuring.
- Strategy : Developing and executing strategic plans for various business units, analyzing KPIs, market dynamics, competitor trends, and preparing presentations for senior management and boards.
- Investor Relations : Supporting the Head of IR in attending investor events, preparing presentations, and campaign materials.
You should possess exceptional financial modeling and writing skills, experience in financial statement analysis, familiarity with legal documents (NDAs, LOIs, MoUs, SHAs, SPAs), and outstanding communication and leadership skills. You will also coach and develop junior team members, organize resources, and prioritize effectively.
Requirements :
3-5 years of experience in strategic consulting, investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or transaction services from tier 1 firms.Strong academic background from top-tier business or engineering schools.Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation methodologies, and financial statement analysis.Strategic, analytical, and creative thinking skills.Ability to work collaboratively and inclusively across all organizational levels.Self-motivated, rigorous, detail-oriented, and able to take initiative and make decisions.Fluent in English; fluency in Spanish is not mandatory.Interest in financial industry sectors such as investment banking, asset management, or private capital.Comfortable with ambiguity and changing situations.Strong financial knowledge (P&L, BS, CF) and understanding of financial statements.Excellent communication and presentation skills, proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.This job posting appears active and does not indicate that it has expired.
