Join our Business Development team as Associate Director Business Development .
The Associate Director Business Development supports the acquisition and growth of new business opportunities, with a focus on Clinical Research and / or Pharmacovigilance (PV), Medical Information (MI), and Regulatory Affairs (RA) services. The role combines proactive client acquisition, account development, and support of strategic sales initiatives.
Location : Europe (Remote / Travel Required)
Reports to Chief Commercial Officer.
The ideal candidate brings a solid track record of successfully driving new client acquisition, demonstrating a strategic, hunter-oriented approach in the Clinical Research and / or PV, MI, and RA service domains.
Responsibilities :
- Attracting new clients and building strong relationships in Clinical Research and / or PV, MI, and RA service lines
- Maintaining good relationships with assigned key clients and ensuring proactive account management
- Ensuring completion of assigned sales goals and contributing to broader commercial strategy
- Supporting the execution of sales strategy and collaborating closely with internal stakeholders
Business Development :
Identify and convert new business opportunities in Clinical Research and / or PV, MI, and RA service areasIndependently drive lead generation and relationship developmentSupport sales strategy implementation and represent the company at industry eventsKey Account Management :
Develop and maintain account plans for assigned clientsCoordinate RFP / RFI responses and lead bid defense meetingsEnsure high client satisfaction and continuityOperational Collaboration :
Maintain accurate records in CRM systemsActively support proposal, marketing, and operations teams during client acquisition cyclesRevenue Growth :
Consistently achieve assigned sales targetsContribute to YoY growth in assigned territories or accountsRequirements :
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skillsProactive and result-driven with strong organizational capabilitiesTeam-oriented but capable of working independentlyFlexible mindset aligned with company values and growthUniversity degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related fieldMinimum 5 years of sales or account management experience in CRO or related life sciences sectorFluent in English and native language (both spoken and written)Proficient with MS Office; CRM systems (Salesforce or similar) are an advantageBenefits :
