Overview
VP of Finance role at Arbolus. The VP of Finance will take full ownership of the group’s finance function in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, overseeing a team of five and shaping the department's strategic direction.
This role reports to the CEO in London and is based in the Barcelona office.
Responsibilities
- Financial Operations & FP&A : Oversee all finance operations, including accounting, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Strategic Advising : Act as a key business partner to the founders and other leaders, providing data-driven insights to inform strategy and drive sustainable growth.
- Board & Investor Relations : Manage all board financial reporting and serve as the primary finance contact for private equity and venture capital investors, including supporting fundraising efforts with the CEO as needed.
- Compliance : Ensure global tax and financial compliance across all entities. Oversee the annual UK audit process and manage the company\'s equity.
- Cash & Treasury : Develop and execute the treasury and cash strategy to optimize working capital and financial stability, including debt management.
- Team & Technology : Lead, mentor, and grow the finance team. Manage and optimize the finance technology stack to improve efficiency and controls.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher from a reputable universityACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent qualification is preferred10+ years in finance roles, with at least 3–5 years in a senior management positionExperience in a multi-entity global environment, preferably UK and US experienceProven track record overseeing finance in a high-growth, fast-paced environment (tech-enabled services, SaaS, or startup settings)Experience managing and scaling a finance teamFundraising, investor relations, and / or M&A experience is a plusStrong understanding of financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reportingDeep knowledge of accounting principles, compliance, and regulatory requirementsProficient in financial systems and tools (ERP, BI platforms, etc.)Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategyWhat We Offer
