Chief People Officer

We are partnering with a fast-growing American gaming company to identify a Chief People Officer, who will serve as the right-hand to the Chief Operating Officer in Barcelona. This role is strategic and hands-on. You’ll help build and embed a culture of high standards, speed, and accountability across the company. You’ll attract and retain top talent, and when people are not aligned with our culture of excellence, you’ll help ensure a smooth transition out.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Partnership : Work closely with the COO to embed discipline around execution throughout the company.
• Recruitment & Talent Acquisition : Own the hiring process from sourcing candidates, interviewing, and selecting, to onboarding.
• Performance & Accountability : Identify and address underperformance; Lead regular performance reviews for individuals and teams; Ensure leaders meet established expectations.
• Culture & Processes : Define and maintain non-negotiables such as high performance, no politics, and transparency; Implement company-wide OKRs; Remove roadblocks so top performers can thrive without bureaucracy.
