We are partnering with a fast-growing American gaming company to identify a Chief People Officer, who will serve as the right-hand to the Chief Operating Officer in Barcelona. This role is strategic and hands-on. You’ll help build and embed a culture of high standards, speed, and accountability across the company. You’ll attract and retain top talent, and when people are not aligned with our culture of excellence, you’ll help ensure a smooth transition out.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Partnership : Work closely with the COO to embed discipline around execution throughout the company.
- Recruitment & Talent Acquisition : Own the hiring process from sourcing candidates, interviewing, and selecting, to onboarding.
- Performance & Accountability : Identify and address underperformance; Lead regular performance reviews for individuals and teams; Ensure leaders meet established expectations.
- Culture & Processes : Define and maintain non-negotiables such as high performance, no politics, and transparency; Implement company-wide OKRs; Remove roadblocks so top performers can thrive without bureaucracy.
What We’re Looking For
Senior-level experience in HR, Talent Acquisition, or People Operations.Strong track record in managing execution : setting up processes and making sure they are followed.Tough-minded but empathetic : able to make difficult decisions while building trust.Balanced decision-making : fair, decisive, with a clear sense of what matters.Familiarity with automation tools and AI-driven solutions to streamline people processes.No interest in office politics, just results with integrity.#J-18808-Ljbffr
