Position Overview The successful candidate will lead the Project Management Office, ensuring strategic programs and critical projects align with organizational goals and objectives. They will set governance, standards, and KPIs for consistent execution while building PMO capability and customer-facing strength.
Key Responsibilities Define, maintain, and implement PMO methodology, processes, tools, and governance standards.
Ensure timely, on-budget project delivery that meets commercial and quality criteria.
Lead with a customer-first mindset, driving effective communication and collaboration.
Partner with Business Unit Heads and Functional Leaders to ensure cross-functional planning and execution.
Oversee project staffing, ensuring teams have the right skills and capabilities.
Monitor KPIs, dashboards, and metrics to track progress, risks, and dependencies.
Provide strategic advice to leadership on critical initiatives and complex projects.
Drive operational and organizational transformation to optimize customer experience.
Report program progress and outcomes to the Executive Team.
Build, develop, and mentor the PMO organization, defining competencies and fostering growth.
Requirements Academics : University degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; Master’s degree or PMP certification is a plus.
Experience : 12–15 years in Project / Program Management, with at least 5 in a leadership role within Pharma / CDMO or similar regulated industry.
Technical Skills : Strong knowledge of PMO governance, methodologies, KPIs, and cross-functional project execution; proven track record in managing complex, multi-site programs in manufacturing environments.
Knowledge : Knowledge of finished product pharmaceutical and health and beauty cosmetic product forms and process technologies is a plus.
People Management : Proven ability to effectively motivate and engage direct reports located across different geographies resulting in a high-performing team and delivering results.
Soft Skills : Strategic mindset, strong leadership and influencing skills, excellent communication, problem-solving, and change management capabilities.
Language & IT : Fluency in English; additional European language (Greek, Spanish, Italian, or German) is an asset. Proficiency in MS Project / other PM tools, and advanced Excel / PowerPoint.
Travel : Approx. 30–40% travel across FAMAR sites to ensure alignment, stakeholder engagement, and oversight of project execution and occasionally to customers offices or events.
