Overview Software Engineering Lead

We're seeking an experienced Software Engineering Lead to oversee the development of our complex software systems. This is a hybrid position, with 2 days / week in the office.

Responsibilities Lead project teams of software engineers and internal / outsourced development partners through all stages of design and development.

Review and evaluate designs for compliance with systems design and development guidelines.

Provide domain-specific expertise and leadership to cross-organization projects.

Drive innovation and integration of new technologies into projects.

Guide and mentor less-experienced staff members.

Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Telecommunications, or equivalent.

Typically 8+ years experience.

Expertise in :

AAA Systems (Telecom)

API & Protocol Expertise

Frontend and Backend Development

Unix Scripting

SQL Coding

Regex Proficiency

Linux & Cloud Knowledge

Core Technologies from an Architecture Point of View Experience in overall architecture of software systems.

Designing and integrating software systems running on multiple platforms.

Understanding and working with :

Istio (Ingress / Egress, mTLS, Proxies, Control Plane)

Keycloak (authentication & authorisation)

Prometheus, Fluent, Jaeger (monitoring, logging, tracing)

MySQL, VoltDB

Kubernetes concepts (pods, security domains, CI / CD flows)

Ansible, Jenkins & GitHub (SCM) integrations and RBAC
