Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a System Engineer who is used to keep the customer satisfaction at the highest level.

You want to be a Netcentric ambassador and provide to our customers excellent support experience.

You are a good fit if you consider yourself a good learner and a team player who is looking forward to achieving goals together with a team. Handling multiple urgent issues in parallel is something you can deal with.

This position is not based remotely. Please apply only if you are based in Madrid.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Customer and business support experience in software applications and testing methodologies
• Experience in a technical support environment or in a system administrator role
• Strong Unix / Linux expertise, including :
• System configuration and maintenance
• Command-line proficiency (CLI)
• Solid understanding of Linux architecture
• Basic networking knowledge or hands-on experience
• Familiarity with DNS systems and configuration
• Good understanding of core security concepts and practices
• Knowledge of web infrastructure, including web servers, dispatchers, load balancing, and CDNs
• Experience working with SSL / TLS certificates and secure communication protocols
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS and / or Azure
• Scripting skills using Bash, Python, or Perl
• Task management, bug tracking, and wiki-based documentation tools like JIRA
• Flexibility to acquire knowledge based on the project needs
• Eligibility to work within the EU and / or Switzerland
• Strong verbal and written English language skills
• On-site work from our Madrid office is required 3 days per week
