System Development Lead

Overview

We are seeking a skilled technical specialist to lead the design and development of complex systems, ensuring they meet performance, safety, and cost objectives.

This role acts as the Technical Authority, responsible for the entire system lifecycle from concept and architecture through integration, validation, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the overall system architecture, requirements, and specifications, managing dependencies between different technical disciplines.
• Analyze customer specifications to define clear, verifiable internal requirements, aligning with project goals and stakeholder expectations.
• Decompose high-level system functions into manageable components, allocating them to sub-systems or components.
• Support technical discussions with customers, suppliers, and certification authorities, providing expert guidance on system design and development.
• Generate, validate, and manage all necessary technical data, documentation, and evidence throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Contribute to project shaping activities (e.g., proposals, requests for information) by defining technical requirements and effort estimations.
• Manage technical relationships with suppliers, including work package definition and technical follow-up.
• Estimate tasks, report on progress, and proactively identify and manage risks, issues, and opportunities.
