Immigration consultant

Daily responsibilities Your main objective is to help companies transfer internationally their employees and their families ensuring a smooth and timely immigration process for all the parties involved. As part of your daily responsibilities you will :

• Analyze each case and advise clients on the best way to proceed in terms of immigration procedures.
• Handle permit applications for international employees of local and foreign companies, as well as for private individuals.
• Manage intra-company transfers.
• Advise on different legal matters related to immigration.
• Review and prepare legal documentation.
• Update our clients on changes and tendencies that might affect their business processes.
• Foresee possible setbacks and delays in the process and communicate them in advance in order to avoid misunderstandings and claims.
• Explain and help the client companies and transferred employees understand "how things work" in Spain regarding immigration bureaucracy.
• Be in constant contact with the company and the transferred employee to ensure a good communication among parties, set down-to-earth expectations and to update on any issue. What are we looking for?
• You are allowed to work in Spain.
• You have a degree in Law and knowledge of the Spanish legal system.
• You have, at least, 2 years of experience in a similar position.
• You are proficient in Spanish and English (French is a plus).
• You are a fast learner.
• You are analytical, organized and pay special attention to detail.
• You have a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
• You are able to perform under pressure and manage high volumes of work.
• You detect urgent needs, and you are able to prioritize work.
• You are foresighted and foresee likely obstacles.
• You are empathetic. We work with people and their families for whom moving abroad is usually a lifechanging issue that brings up insecurities, stress and excitement at the same time.
• You are interested in international mobility tendencies and policies.
• You have strong communication and interpersonal skills. You will be constantly in touch with the customer.
