About the team
We are seeking an experienced Compensation & Benefits Manager to lead and manage total rewards strategies across our operations in Spain. This role requires a deep understanding of compensation structures, benefits administration, and payroll processes, while also providing HR generalist and administrative support to ensure alignment with local business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compensation and benefits combined with broad HR experience in an automotive environment.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement compensation and benefits strategies that align with company objectives and market benchmarks.
- Manage and oversee salary structures, incentive plans, and job evaluations to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.
- Ensure compliance with Spanish labor laws and regulations related to compensation, benefits, and social security.
- Partner with HR and finance teams to manage annual salary reviews, bonus programs, and budget planning.
- Oversee benefits administration, including pension plans, health insurance, and employee perks.
- Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to ensure competitive compensation and benefits offerings.
- Manage payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax and legal requirements.
- Provide HR generalist support, including employee relations, policy development, and workforce planning.
- Partner with HR teams to drive employee engagement initiatives related to rewards and recognition.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.Minimum 5-7 years of experience in compensation, benefits, and HR generalist functions, preferably within the automotive or manufacturing industry.Strong knowledge of Spanish labor law, tax regulations, and social security requirements related to compensation and benefits.Experience in salary benchmarking, job evaluation, and incentive program design.Ability to balance strategic compensation planning with hands-on HR administration.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.Experience working in a multinational environment, managing compensation and benefits across different sites.Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English.Why join ZF in Spain?
