We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps (f / m / d) that can support our development team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our Linux-based development and test infrastructure. This infrastructure consists of a Linux cluster running thousands of tests every hour supporting our development teams. You will work closely with development and IT teams to understand requirements and develop efficient solutions.
Key Responsibilities :
Collaborate with development and IT teams to design, implement, and maintain a scalable, secure, and high-availability Linux-based infrastructure
Work with the development teams to maintain and improve the test orchestration and scheduling tool chain
Optimize system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth operations
Handle system updates, upgrades, and patch management to keep the environment secure and up to date
Set up monitoring tools to track system performance, application metrics, and infrastructure health
Utilize configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Salt) to automate server provisioning and software installations
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
5+ years of professional experience as a DevOps Engineer
Strong proficiency in Linux system administration and shell scripting
Strong proficiency in Python development
Proficient in configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Salt)
Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Nomad)
Experience with monitoring and alerting tools
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Experience with C++ is a plus
Experience with workload manager software (Nomad, Slurm, etc.) is a plus
Experience with cloud technology is a plus (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
Experience with OpenStack is a plus
