We are seeking an experienced and skilled culinary professional to lead our kitchen team at a luxurious hotel in Barcelona.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences, with a strong focus on quality, presentation, and customer satisfaction.
This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with our kitchen and F&B department to ensure seamless daily operations and banqueting activities.
Daily Tasks Directly interact with guests when working in the main kitchen area.
Maintain high-quality standards to exceed customer expectations.
Create a positive working environment that fosters teamwork and collaboration among departments.
Promote quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments.
Show commitment and engagement to the brand by attending and supporting hotel activities.
Prepare and cook orders according to portion and quality standards specified in recipes.
Control food usage to minimize waste.
Advise supervisor of low inventory items and assist with receiving and inventory tasks.
Maintain compliance with food handling and sanitation standards.
Attend meetings and communicate with executives, peers, and subordinates to improve quality of service across all departments.
Maintain a clean, neat, and organized workspace, including reach-ins, walk-ins, and counters.
