The Role As it continues to grow rapidly, MotorK is seeking an experienced, highly energetic and motivational Team Leader for one of our most impactful teams - Platform. Someone used to look for win-win opportunities with an outcome driven mindset, experienced enough to know that for any given technical solution the execution is a key factor for success.

Requirements Previous significant hands-on experience in a Software Engineering role
Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Lean practices such as Kanban
Experienced in working in an environment that promotes a DevOps mindset, Continuous Integration and Delivery
Extensive expertise in Java (1.8 or later, Spring Boot)
Experience with any additional programming language / framework is a plus
Strong Software Engineering skills, strong SW Design capabilities, fluent on practices and principles
Experience with GenAI tools : Gemini, Copilot, etc.
Knowledge of unit and functional testing and experience with TDD (JUnit and Spock)
Strong English communication skills (both spoken and written)
Responsibilities Lead a scrum team of 3-5 engineers
Participate in day-to-day coding
Liaise with architects and other senior engineers to remove blockers limiting our capacity to get things done
Advocate best practices and value-driven mindset among engineers and product managers
Liaise with QA Engineers to test the user stories
Help improve our way of working based on continuous improvement
Communicate in terms that non-technical people understand; clear communication is crucial in our environment
