We are partnered with a leading $600m revenue software group that is expanding its team in Europe. We are seeking an M&A Associate to join the M&A team in Europe.

The Role
Reporting directly to the Head of M&A for Europe, you will play a pivotal role in executing high-impact transactions and driving continued success in the software sector. This is a full-time, fully remote role with travel to Madrid once a month, encompassing the following key responsibilities :
Key Responsibilities
Support and oversee the execution of M&A transactions, including due diligence, deal structuring, negotiation, and integration planning
Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and valuation assessments to support decision-making processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external advisors to ensure alignment and timely execution of transaction timelines
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including target companies, financial institutions, legal advisors, and internal departments
Support post-acquisition integration efforts to achieve synergy targets and maximize operational efficiencies
Assist in developing and implementing best practices and processes to improve M&A execution and integration activities
We're looking for :
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
3+ years of experience in M&A, private equity, investment banking, corporate development, or related roles, with a proven track record of successfully executing transactions
Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to conduct complex financial modeling and valuation analyses
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with experience managing cross-functional teams and driving projects to successful completion
Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast and dynamic environment
Experience in the software / technology sector or related industries is a plus
