About FOSSA Systems

FOSSA Systems is a leading space engineering and telecommunications company with +40 employees, specializing in developing and deploying IoT satellite solutions for remote asset management. Leveraging advanced miniaturization and mass production techniques, FOSSA has launched over 20 satellites and is actively deploying a groundbreaking satellite constellation to deliver cost-effective, cutting-edge connectivity solutions.

With headquarters in Madrid and an R&D center in Lisbon, FOSSA Systems is at the forefront of innovation in satellite manufacturing, operations, and IoT connectivity.

Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for a People & Talent Specialist who’s passionate about building strong teams and creating meaningful employee experiences. This role combines hands-on HR operations with strategic initiatives across our Madrid and Lisbon offices, including talent acquisition, onboarding, payroll coordination, employee development, and career.

You’ll be a key player in shaping our culture and supporting our growth.

Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition

Posting job openings, screening candidates, and conducting interviews.
Continuously improving recruitment processes to attract top talent.
Coordinating with universities and handling documentation for internship programmes.

Onboarding & Offboarding

Designing and executing onboarding and offboarding processes.

Delivering initial training, managing documentation, and collecting feedback from departing employees.

Performance & Engagement

Creating role-specific KPIs and performance evaluation methods.

Implementing strategies to boost employee motivation and engagement.

Designing and analyzing satisfaction surveys to improve workplace culture.

Training & Development

Identifying and organizing training opportunities (e.g., Fundae, technical programs).

Compensation & Career Planning

Designing and implementing compensation plans (remote work, hybrid schedules, etc.)

Developing career paths aligned with employee interests and company goals.

Profile

Master’s degree in Human Resources or Talent Management.

Minimum 3 years of experience in HR, ideally within a startup environment

Advanced knowledge of HR management platforms.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Experience in designing compensation and career development plans.

Advanced English level
