Job Description
This position is an opportunity for an experienced HR professional to act as a coach and change agent that partners with managers to facilitate organizational and cultural change. You will regularly work across a wide range of areas such as employee relations, performance management, compensation, labour law, HR regulations, employee engagement, and talent development. The ability to understand the role of each business function in the organization will be critical to your success.
Responsibilities
- Work with People Experience & Services Team in Madrid to provide support and high-quality service to employees
- Collaborate closely with our local Spanish Works Council
- Build trusting and effective working relationships with managers and other employees
- Assess the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities
- Ensure implementation of all legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees
- Collect feedback from employees to ensure continuous improvement of organizational culture and performance
- Managing and controlling the correctness and timeliness of all HR processes (e.g. HR documents and contracts, internal HR systems, performance evaluation forms, development plans)
- Coach managers and support employees in the process of any cultural or business change
- Contribute to the development of overall zooplus culture and people development, share local practices within the group
Qualifications
Minimum 5 plus years of relevant experience as HR field preferably in an international organizationUniversity degree (preferred in psychology, sociology, HR or related discipline)Critical skills include facilitation, ability to drive change, organizational skillsBe able to use tactful, appropriate communication in sensitive and emotional situationsProficient knowledge of HR concepts, regulations / legislation, processes and policiesAbility to work independently and under pressureVery good organizational and planning skillsKnowledge of HR trends, policies, HR Administration, performance appraisals, local labour law and talent developmentAbility to manage several projects and tasks simultaneouslyFluent in Spanish and English (a third language is a plus)Additional Information
