Barcelona Pool House
Located on Avinguda Tibidabo , our third House in the city will include a state-of-the-art gym, a full-service spa and hair salon, an 18m outdoor pool, a café, plus two floors of club space with a revolving restaurant concept.
The Role
As Restaurant Manager at Soho House, you are an ambassador for the brand with detailed knowledge of the Soho House Group and its concept including all menus and food & beverage offerings. Demonstrating a professional approach towards our managers, employees, and Members, you are responsible for the day-to-day management of the F&B outlets, any associated events in the club and restaurant, including the member and guest experience.
Main Duties
- Be visible on the floor and engaging with members, gaining feedback and noting comments through reporting channels and directly to the kitchen and front of house team.
- Ensure members and guests have a great experience and resolve issues proactively.
- Order and purchase products for the Restaurant and other F&B outlets.
- Manage and operate the POS system, ensuring all items are updated as necessary.
- Act as the contact for staff requests and problems, proactively solving issues.
- Ensure the team is appropriately groomed and wearing the correct uniform according to standards.
- Update menus monthly, ensuring accuracy at printing and adherence to deadlines.
- Coordinate tasks with other departments to ensure smooth operation.
- Organize and distribute necessary documents, summarizing relevant information for staff.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and external regulations.
- Train employees on core values, roles, responsibilities, and technical / service aspects.
- Assign tasks and monitor completion to meet quality standards.
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
- Be physically fit to lift, bend, twist, and stand / walk for long periods.
- Prepare and monitor staff rotas, minimizing unnecessary overtime.
What we are looking for
3-5 years’ experience in a senior management role within a busy hospitality venue.Innovative and influential, with experience managing F&B operations.Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship-building abilities.Strong attention to detail and customer service skills.Fluent in English, Spanish, and Catalan.Organized, reliable, and team-oriented.Computer literacy in Opera, Micros, and Adaco is advantageous.Understanding of local authority requirements.Personal license holder and SIA knowledge / experience.Benefits : Soho House offers competitive packages with global benefits including memberships, staff discounts, and special days off.
