About the job OW a controlled 50 / 50 joint venture between EDP and Engie is looking for a proactive and analytical O&M OPEX Specialist. Are you willing to join a passionate and high performing team, in a cross-cultural, fast-paced, and strongly grOWing environment?
Main Accountabilities
- Establishing the OPEX costs (OW OPEX digital tool) for each project within O&M. Responsible of providing OPEX figures in collaboration with Procurement for financial modelling,
- Accountable of providing required O&M inputs and documentation for tenders and bids, including risk assessment and risk mitigation measures
- Establishing O&M requirements, implement and oversee a multi-contracting strategy for this purpose, develop SMA responsibility Matrixs,
- Accountable of providing relevant O&M inputs to other areas, such as Business Development, WTG, Substructures, Transport & Installation, Energy Assessment, etc., ensuring O&M interfaces with other packages and stakeholders are appropriately managed
- Support on the definition of the O&M strategy for the project, including set up of ports, offshore access strategy, labor, etc., Run different and selected O&M strategies using the corporate digital tools and argue the results with determination.
- Support OpEx optimization processes and new feature to be considered in the digital tool.
- When required, support negotiations on O&M service contracts with several OEMs, ISPs and Ports. Supporting the development and later the construction of the operational O&M Base,
- Responsible of tracking and sharing lessons learnt of O&M related matters and manage those lesson learnt towards O&M improvements.
Academic Background and Professional Experience
A degree in a relevant engineering discipline (e.G., Industrial Engineering, Energy Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Naval Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent) is preferred.Experience in wind or other renewable energies will be valued.Required Knowledge and Competencies
Demonstrable knowledge in the following areas is required :OPEX costsDeep technical knowledge of offshore wind projects interfacesExtensive knowledge of the application of relevant regulations and offshore wind industry standardsPostgraduate studies in Renewable Energy are valuedAbility to engage and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of business.Proficient with all Microsoft 365 Software Packages.Excellent communication skills and creating and presenting data stories decision-making.Tackle challenging project tasks demonstrating ownership and responsibility.Knowledge in any of the following areas is a plus :Renewable Energy.Wind turbines.Mechanical systems.Fixed and floating substructures.High voltage and power systems.Languages
The company has an international team of employees, and the working language is English. Candidates must be fluent in English both spoken and written. Proficiency in other languages will be valued.
