What You’ll Do

We have an exciting opportunity for a Director, Central Continuous Improvement to join Stanley Black & Decker on a permanent basis located in Europe. As the CI Director, you will operate as a key change agent focused on building world-class CI capability, supporting the identification of productivity and Kaizen opportunities to ensure flawless execution whilst providing additional coaching and support.

You will be responsible for ensuring each of our sites within North and South EU regions have productivity plans (Kaizen Schedules) that contain sufficient operational improvement projects to attain or exceed YoY site-level productivity targets. In addition, you will lead and develop a team of Central CI Senior Engineers and Engineers within the region.

Who You Are

• Fluent in English (verbal and written)
• Manufacturing experience to include line responsibility and experience with the main manufacturing functions : production, maintenance, quality, production engineering, internal logistics, and launch (NPI)
• Deep experience in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies
• Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement certification
• Proficiency with financial statements, including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, global and domestic, travel percentage may vary based on business needs
